Alicia
Alicia said I was homeless for years in many different towns after being discharged from the Military. I have finally obtained my first apartment, but the place was empty. Just like the years of my life before.
How was I going to cook, clean put my clothes away and even sit down. Then my EOC worker called the Veterans Miracle Center.
Now I have my first fully furnished apartment.
Thank You Alicia for your service to this Great Country and thank you Rick for helping her out to.
Pam
My experience with the Veterans Miracle Center has been very good, very encouraging, and a blessing to me and my family. I am grateful to the VMCE for many things, most of all, ” Welcome Home To Hope ” I experienced that on my first visit and experience each time I come in.
I cannot thank the Veterans Miracle center enough for their support, help, and encouragement. I am so thankful for this resource, and for the volunteers and staff.
They are very caring, helpful, understanding and compassionate.
I receive help and encouragement from people who understanding who have been in my shoes and who knows and understands my struggles.
Thank You,

Bary Ross
Bary Ross, a veteran, got to shop at the VMCE. He said, “I was very excited about the help given and the quality of items available. This service is greatly needed for veterans. Those in charge of the center treated me with great dignity and concern. Very grateful for the help.”
We are glad to be there for you and other veterans, Bary, and we are grateful for your service to our nation.
John Broko
John Broko (pictured at the VMCE) wrote, “I am an Erie-born U.S.M.C. veteran, age 72, living on social security in a senior citizen apartment. I have cardiac vascular problems from quadruple bypass surgery years ago. I am a diabetic and have recently had surgery for malignant melanoma, and more surgeries and treatment are forthcoming. The VA hospital has been outstanding and their staff is great.” John was able to avail himself of VMC Erie services.
USMC Vietnam Veteran Lawrence
VMCE had the pleasure of meeting USMC Vietnam Veteran Lawrence and his friend Linda this year. Many Veterans do not have transportation, and are very thankful for their friends who get them from point A to point VMCE:)
Lawrence said that he had “a very good experience at the VMCE. The staff was very helpful.”
Thanks for your service, Lawrence!
