Ladies from the Sunshine Group supplied lots of useful items for our veterans. This group is an organization dedicated to helping the needy, less fortunate, shut ins, and nursing home patients by providing a large variety of gifts at Christmas and throughout the year.
We what to express our heart felt thanks for all they donated, including blankets, sheet sets, fleece Blankets, lots of hand made items, and more.
The Veterans Miracle Center had a new group of volunteers. Wattsburg Elementary School students in Ms. Jamie Kotlar’s class assisted the center by making Welcome Home to Hope Kits for our Veterans.
Students also counted, sorted and organized items for future kits. Additional tasks were eagerly completed by the energized group.
Students were taught by their teachers the importance of the role Veterans play in America’s freedom. They were here to give back, to give thanks to our armed forces.
We want to give a huge Thanks to Mary- Margaret and Jennifer from the NeuroRestorative Center for bringing Sara, Nathan and Judy to the center and volunteering their time and helping us to make hygiene kits for our Veterans that deserve more then they will ever receive. We look forward to seeing you again.
